The Creative Team and Student Board of your friendly neighborhood Theatre Company will be here to ease your fears and educate your minds about how to get involved with the great things that we do, through a series of workshops designed to bring you up to speed on the skills and mindsets necessary to be productive members of the (SW)2 team!

The SouthWest StageWorks BootCamp workshops will cover topics including:

-Improv Auditions and Game Play
-Musical/Mainstage Auditioning
-Build Crew Basics

...and potentially others!

No pre-registration is required!  Simply print out and return the Waiver below, and look over the session offerings, so that you have an idea of where you'd like to jump in.  On Monday morning (or immediately prior to any session, if you're planning on a la carte sessions only later in the week), bring in your waiver form, and tuition for your sessions and you'll be good to go!  Cost is $10 per AM or PM Session, or $50 for the full week experience.  In addition, just bring a lunch and a positive mindset, and you’ll get the rest you need here.  We can only accept Cash or Check right now, so please plan ahead!  There is some scholarship availability for those with limited means...please feel free to contact me directly at mjamie@pps.net with inquiries.

Theatre students truly interested in being a part of the SouthWest StageWorks family, students wanting to maximize their opportunities right away (especially incoming Freshmen) should plan on taking part in the full set of sessions across all the theatrical disciplines...the Company Basics sequence.  This group will typically move from session to session together, building both their community as a part of the Company, and the skill sets vital to feeling comfortable in the work we do.  At Wilson, we are not just techies, actors, or costumers...we're a community of theatre artists working from a place of knowledge, understanding, and respect!

Those folks who are brushing up on particular skill sets, particularly younger artists and returning veterans, can take the full week, or take individual sessions a la carte.  The schedule for these opportunities is posted below.

Any student in incoming Grades 6-12 is welcome…polish up your skills, learn something new, or just get involved with the award-winning (SW)2 theatre company!  All sessions will be mixed age, giving a one of a kind educational theatre experience!

The section below has a schedule of the individual sessions and session leaders for your planning ease.
